Unless your want kids climbing on it , stollers scratching it, dogs pissing on it, old people sitting on your fender cuz they are tired...bumpers stepped on, belt buckles run down the side, bikes sneaking in between you and the next car 10" away ... If your  good with that... Enter away  wtf

Shane, you should bring your car to the Langley Speedway on sunday. There's lots of space, unlike the cruise-in.

Last time I was in it I didn't have any off those issues, in fact there was about 4-5 feet between the cars.

The trick is to show up early (talking about 4-5am) to Kwantlen with a group of cars and tell them you're a club and are together.. get someone brave and pushy in front and insist on an area and park your own with lots of space.. But yes Shane is right. It's a disgustingly busy show with a lot of people there who don't have a true appreciation for cars and let their kids run wild. You need to keep your eyes open and something handy to smack the hands of small children... or a big mean dog with a foaming mouth.
There was a car a few years back parked near us. Some lady actually opened the door of some guys car and loaded her 3 kids in for a picture!! Like WTF?

I'm in. My van has so many scratches & rust spots that I don't care about all that too much. I did have a mirror knocked off once though - which was annoying - they actually set it back in the clamp/holder thing and I didn't notice it until I went to leave!!! It's just fun to hear all the VW stories  -  seems almost everyone has one!  The people who were teens in the late 60's are the best. Apparently many firsts occurred in a VW !!!!!.....

Gonna be hot though!!  (Another reason to have a van!! )

Didnt see you guys at the swap. My wife gave me enough time to drive to the swap and have an hour to go through it before heading home and heading to my nefews 3rd b-day. I had to rush it.
Not a bad swap though. Found some B/A Oil stuff I was looking for and got a cool hot rod shirt for my son.
Goeff, I saw a big tin picture of you brothers truck at the salt flats for sale, $112. Looked killer, I ordered the smaller $30 one for my garage. Does he still have it or did he sell it? Love that truck!

Funny enough my brother mentioned that the guy selling those posters was at the salt flats a few weeks back and sold a thick stack of those posters!!!
Cool poster, The truck sold to a guy in Toronto but has since been changed.............a lot  :'(

The pic is from the same series but a side profile in B&W.  The truck now has a different front suspension, removed the buick brakes for a modern disc set up and took out the Studebaker V8 with Caddy manifold & 4 speed for a SBC with auto.... He even removed the cool steering wheel. Oh well he offered it all back to my Brother and he jumped on it. Those were some of the coolest parts on it.
