Just a small, odd, collection of mine. It's amazing what some people do to their volkswagens. Have fun looking!  :P

If you like \"unusual (and awesome)\" VW's you need to check out Volksrods.com. Here's a few of the member's cars.

\"rat rods\" are awesome. Allthough, I'd never dismember a volkswagen that was in good condition. Building a volksrod from a rusted out shell is a different story though...  ^_^ , they look awesome!

btw- Nice pics thrasherbill

bill did you have a cruiser bike at one point? Were you not making rides down across the line to go shoot pool and drink beer?

hey bill, that car is a sweet ride. there was a feature on it in one of the euro mags not to long ago. ultravw or volksworld, i cant remember what mag. did you see the article?

cool low budget rod. the bed/box is fabbed from a late bus rear and the roof and windscreen from an early split bus, all on a semi auto bug chassis i think. pretty sweet fab work, allthough i'm not to keen on the taillights, i dig the way it sits.

Silas, I'm pretty sure it was Ultra VW that Tobias' car was in. There is a feature on Butcher Will's bug truck (the red oxide roadster truck I posted in my first response) coming out in the new Volksworld along with some other smaller articles on volksrods. All the kool kids are doing it... this one belongs to Dave Cormack

It will be a chopped , suicided, early ford front suspension and ford wire wheeled fenderless rod when it's done.

Unfortunately around here you have to have fenders but I've got some ideas floating around in this twisted mind of mine (insert evil laugh here)

76 bus - Ahhh the Tues Cruise! Those were the days... drinking a few pitchers of beer for $3.50 each and riding 1950's bicycles across the border pissed drunk at midnight on a Tuesday.
