« on: June 07, 2011, 11:40:30 AM »
http://www.aircare.ca/getresults.php  ( past results are from previous owner)

First try! Just tweaked the idle by ear and went for it.
btw this is a fastback with 1904cc (74x90.5)  , engle k8 cam , 40x35.5 home ported heads , 1.4 rockers , weber 44 dcnf's , 8.5:1 compression , msd ignition , 1 5/8 header   ...............the engine I built for this car , not a temporary air care engine, reg fuel ,no snake oil . It can be done. ;D

AGREED 100% i think i have said this every aircare thread that comes up .there is no magic needed just a motor that is in great mechanical shape .then its a piece of cake .
well done and build it bigger next time  ;)

I guess I should clarify that I actually built this engine over 25 years ago (when it was still cool to build small motors) and its actually been through air care before almost 10 years ago when I had it in a beetle with IDA's .  It's lasted this long....I don't think there will be a next time.
