i was just thinking about what i could do to make a really stupid fast car...and then it kinda clicked..i dont even know what stupid fast is..i know some guys run 11s...some guys run 10s...not many 10s that i have seen..but i know they are there..im sure there are some 9s..

but who..out of anyone that counts (ppl that we will actually race one day) has the fastest most bad azz bug at the track?

one day i plan on having the fastest car

one day i will..no matter what it takes..but that could be 20 years..30 years down the road..but i will find a way..

but alas..i dont now..who does?..i know my motivation to make a kick ass fast car..but what are yours?

it would be good for me to know what im gonna be up against..
i know in the modern day..it does not work quite like it used to..due to modern fuel systems..forced induction..better parts..things keep getting faster and faster..but who..is the fastest?

im looking for the fastest street cars..maybe not daily driver..but something with a plate on the back of it..

locally, and for this year, i think the top three fastest acvw's at the track will be in this order....

1 - darren krewenchuck in \"the nitrous bandit\"
2 - jim martin in \"the wok\"
3 - shane (pointblank) in \"the hulk\"

internationally, i know kris lauffer runs low 9's in his red convertable and his bro jason runs 9 aswell in his 67.

thats how it stands now.

i guess i should 've clarified. at the end of the season, after everyone has t&t'd their cars and gotten ample seat time and many passes, the top three best times will be in that order.

i'll put a six pack on that bet.

Just a thought -
I've thought that we should have a local version of the top 10/20 so people can log on and see what's up. I know Cal-Look already has one and all the big players are on it.

I would be willing to give run it if there is interest, and I already have the webspace.

Oh and don't foget Allan's 65, he made the Cal-look top 20 last year and has done some improvements in the off season.

i think that would be a great fun section on this forum
a local TOP 20 ,nice way too keep track of all local aircooled racers.
would be great too see the list evolve from the start of the season untill the end.as long as it resarts with now carry over too the next year.

your right on it bruce !!! i like the idea about the way the local cars can evolve from begining too end ,so positions are always changing.
will have too update after tonight as it sounds like many cars are running.don't even have too have top 20 could be top 50 .that way who ever runs has a record.
maybe i will drive out tonight for a peak at the competion

man i'm glad the races are off , i would have had too come out with a referee
outfit just too keep things in line.
