Hello & Advice welcome
« on: April 12, 2011, 08:33:13 PM »
Hi ,
I am new to the forum. My initial readings suggests there are a lot of knowledgeable members so I am hoping to take advantage. I am the proud owner of a '69 Type 3 Squareback. It was my daily driving in high-school but it has been resting ever since. It is now time to begin the reviving it from its slumber.
As much as I would like to do all the work myself, I am just not that skilled. Therefore, I need some help finding a good, trusted mechanic preferably in the lower mainland to work on the motor (already rebuilt back in high-school). I will likely have to replace / rebuild the tranny and finally the body will need a full make over as well. This should get her rolling again & looking good on the outside, then I can work on the interior.
Recommendations, offers, etc. are all welcome.

Thank you all in advance.

Adrian

PS I will try and post some pics later

I also own a '69 Square. She's my daily most of the time, but she might be taking a year off for some much needed mechanical integrity
