Well, things have changed and I no longer have my  white '73 beetle  :'( . So, Im looking for a new one. I don't have a lot of money to spend. all I want is something with very little to no rust, and that can be semi-easily fixed. If you have anything that can help me please reply.

As well, I have 2 buses. one mid to late 70's (pancake engine) and one that i think is a '67 or very close to that apparently was willy nelsons. They have some good parts on them which I might be able to sell for a reasonable offer. I WILL NOT send pictures unless your dead serious, it takes time to get to them, time which I am not willing to waste.

Just wondering, but do you have a preference as to what year Beetle you're looking for, and if you want a driver or not??  You may want to post that up.  I certainly don't want to "@#$% talk" you!  It's nice to see such a young person interested in ACVW's.  Good luck with your hunt.   ;D

Gotta love Willy Nelson! Good luck on the hunt, check out the usedvictoria.com they often have cars that don't show up elsewhere. They've got a 74 beetle for $900

Wow. I think you might want to slow down a bit before posting. Most of the folks posting here have been friends for a long time, and a lot of what you might think is trash-talk is actually banter between good close friends. I've only been a part of the Airspeed forums for a couple of years (much less then most of the regular posters), but if you approach the forum with a good attitude you'll soon find yourself inside a great group of friends. Hit the forum in a confrontational way, and you're not going to get very far.

WTF man? You related to JimZ or something?

There are a small handful of people that deserve to be smack-talked here once in a while (myself included) but for the most part we all know one another and either respect or at least tolerate one another. Don't come on a forum as a "gun-toting" 14-year old and with a stick up yer arse and expect people to give you anything but a cold shoulder. Very bad way to get started little man.
And buddy, if you can't take the time to take a few pictures don't expect anyone to give you the time of day. Having a bullshit attitude like that will guarantee nobody will want to deal with you and your unwillingness to cooperate will further exacerbate that issue. Case in point - the name mentioned above. If you don't know whether your bus is a 67 or 68 makes me scratch my head as to whether or not you actually know what a VW is and whether or not you're actually for real.

Here's some pointers:

Learn some manners because apparently your parents haven't taught you any, or you were too busy getting stoned in Willy Nelson's bus with the rest of the burnouts to listen to them.
Learn how to use a camera and post pictures (I use photobucket for image hosting)
Take a valium or put the bong down, whatever helps for paranoia because the world is NOT out to screw you over.
Think before engaging your mouth (or fingers in this case)
TAKE A PICTURE, POST YOUR PRICE. This is so simple yet so fucking complicated for some people. Ask Jim... I don't even know how the hell he remembers to breath let alone get out of bed in the morning assuming he knows how to close his own eyelids.

You're surrounded by a forum of good people for the most part. I'd re-check my attitude and maybe actually ACKNOWLEDGE THAT AND APOLOGIZE for being a raging douchebag then people MAY want to help you and deal with you because right now you have closed many more doors than you have opened by being a dipshit. That's a call you're gonna have to make though champ.

Good luck with your journey.
