well we have seen the before and after how about some in between shots of the work?  You might do good work but your ad sure stinks of quickie bondo job work.  Maybe you need to do a better job of promoting your work.  It makes a huge difference in the way people perceive your shop (as you can see form above).

I certainly don't claim to offer "Craftsman Collision" quality. Rust is removed, repairs are done with fiberglass, all materials are professional quality, and people save money. I offer an alternative to high cost bodywork that many people simply can't afford, but would still like their vehicle to look presentable for a few years. Usually for only a few hundred dollars, you get some rust repaired and that area gets repainted. Again, if you want to see the whole process, come to my shop and you'll see how it's done, I have nothing to hide. Contact me for an appointment. I'm just asking you to be fair and not make fun of it until you see it.

Please don't be offended, but this is a website for classic car enthusiasts.

I think I speak for most of us when I say we find that "cheap bodywork" has about the same ring to it as "ugly hookers" or "non-alcoholic beer".

If you're cool with what you're doing, rock on. Haters gonna hate.

Well guys, I think this guy sounds like a is just offering something different. No where is he mentioning that he is going to take your rotten Ford Pinto and turn it into a Chip Foose creation in a day. As he states it is an alternative to expensive body work. Until you actually take the time to go to his shop as he has offered, maybe keep your your opinions to yourself as a guy is just trying to make a living. I have seen work out there weather it be bodywork, upholstery or mechanical work from "professionals" that has taken more than a day and looks like ???? Hell if I had a driver that I wanted to clean up and wasn't looking to spend an arm and a leg on it sounds good to me. No where in his ad does it say fast overpriced bodywork, because there sure is plenty of them out there already!!!

And as far as this being " a website for classic car enthusiasts". The guy is just defending himself, he didn't come onto this site and promote his shop.

My 2 cents

Well put!

I always thought it was in horrible taste to badmouth anyone's work when they are putting in time and effort.  My pappy always told me before he left this shitty world, ifnya ain't got nothing nice to say....keep your mouth shut!  Ya never know whos' going to be listening (or in this case, reading!)

I agree richard, its not like he comes on here stating he does concours restorations, your right without the funds to pay a franchise body/collision shop, but looking to keep a vehicle clean and respectable what do you really have to loose?

Sounds logical to me?

it is unfortunate that lots of car enthusiast have run into glassed over crappy bodywork without knowing it.  I can see a desire to fix up the car without spending the bank for sure.  What I have commented on to the originator of the ad is that he may do pretty good work (for what area he is targeting) but he needs to dress up his ad with better after pics etc.  Also the premise of fix it in a day doesn't lend itself to quality work usually.

Did this guy come on here to advertise or did someone actually go out of there way to track down his ad and expend energy to post a negetive comment.
I've come to realize there are some people on here who are quick with the negetive and short on the positive. But that's really just a reflection on society.

Gotta love haters!

So many different levels of enthusiasts, some large buget and some small, some trailer queens and some broken headlight style, if it's not your thing you really should keep it to your self!

We all started somewere fixing up our cars.....My first was a bucket! I dropped it on its nuts, rolled it and was happy as hell.
Then... i probally could have used a place like this guy offers.

at the end of the day, its what the guy who owns the car wants to pay, a good "pro" should be able to figure this out and work to the payers needs. I highly doubt anyone is after a dvkk paint job on their minivan after bumping into their daughters boyfriends car late one nite after a few beers....

I think it is a great alternative to making something look presentable without spending alot on something you just want to look a little better . I even in my daily driver liket to look somewhat nice as I feel it reflects on me and how I take care of things I drink no name coke as well lol_hitting just a good as the rest I feel and what I'm willing to pay for . I think there is definetley a need What ever happened to Macoo or Earl Sheib they also found there was the same Market Just my 2 cents

And the associated commentary, let's not forget that.  But the question begs, WHY?
