Local Weber carb support?
« on: October 09, 2010, 10:53:53 AM »
Hey there. Just looking to see if there is anyone local (lower mainland) that would be able to help me with a pair of Weber IDF 44 carbs. They have been causing me headaches right from the get-go (and no, they aren't EMPI's). Now that the car is parked for the winter, I am to the point of just handing these over to someone who can properly tune them for my 2276. Any takers who want a little project over the next few rainy months??
Thanks in advance.

Thumper
Those carbs are notorious for clogged idle jets especially if they have been sitting at all. Wayne

Thanks for the input. I'm going to have one more tackle at this myself, with a compression test, and see what I can come up with. If it is still the same result, I'll be giving you a shout Lanny to arrange something.
