Want to say thank-you to everyone that helped make this happen. Sarah (our 17 y.o. daughter) has finally got her dream beetle. From the start she always desired a 58-63 Beetle sedan and after seeing Peter "Empiracer's" '60 "Indigo Blue" (a one year only color) ragtop it had to be that color. About a month ago Stephan Schmidt (Thank-you, Thank-you) tipped us off to a Samba ad for a '60 Indigo Blue car in Portland. We weren't sure how we could make that happen but many thanks to Gary "GMB" who happened to be picking up a trailer in Portland, and was able to bring the car up to Everson for us. Also many Thanks to Blarneyman for storing the car while we did the export paperwork, and then there's "the Frenchy" who spent this morning helping us retrieve it from Everson and bring it across the border. It's a very pretty little car, and a very nice fairly uncommon color. Some assembly required but most of the hard stuff is done. Sarah is very happy with her beautiful little car, and we are very happy for her as well. Thanks again to all who helped out and all who will be helping. It's the shiniest car in the shop, and it's gonna be a sweet ride!
