Read that or something very similar couple years ago, thought about how many nasty ass chemicals I use on a daily basis then, was cautious for a while ......and honestly went right back to ignorance till I refresh reality ..........DUMBASS

Guys, this is a myth!

Josh, keep doing what you were doing, you'll be perfectly safe.

In the article the guy talks about how the chlorine compounds in the parts cleaner are converted to poison gasses.  However, in Canada, chlorinated solvents have been BANNED for almost a DECADE from parts cleaners.  Read the labels at Lordco, you won't find any chlorinated brake cleaners.

I was pretty sure the chlorinated wasn`t in Canada but in the shops I ve worked we use all kinds of nasty stuff  I was just posting as a reminder to read the M.S.D.S. sheets and labels on products we use hate to see someone get hurt  iagree.Almost like we all know to wear safety glasses  and gloves and leave gaurds on but we get complacent . Just a reminder safety first we all have loved ones waiting fro us at home

still lots of other nasties that get taken out of their intended uses that can cause some serious hurt over years of repeated exposure....... human guinea pigs cheaper than proper testing >:(
