Thinking about a Ghia?
« on: June 29, 2010, 04:24:34 PM »
I came across a low light Ghia that is sat on an IRS pan. I haven't decided if I want to go for it or not due to registration issues. The pan is supposed to be in good to excellent condition and the body is complete and fairly straight but needing a fair amount of rust repair. It's a shell with all the glass right now.

Anyone have a price estimate for something like this. I don't want to insult the guy but don't want to throw out a figure to high either.

I'll have to stop by and ask the property owner. He's not the car owner so I don't think it will be an issue. Should have some by the end of the weekend.

I know we didn't have much interest in our running registered lowlight at $2500 that was needing a lot of work (almost no local interest). It did finally sell but took awhile.
