Nope no 6 second or 100mph run today, too much headwind of 20kms and gust to 30 and heat of 33 ish temp. Played with the boost regulator, and after 3 runs of watching it let the boost slowly creep to 18, I disconected it, and put in some springs to equal 19 pounds. Then the boost hit 19 quickly the way it should. I don't want to blame my slow times on the wind, cause maybe the carb is maxed out with airflow and needs bigger vents again, but it sure was windy, so for now thats a good excuse I won't loose sleep over, which I desperatly need right now, and I am pretty sure i would have been very close with a 6 and 100 mph without the wind.
Had a fun day like allways, and a friend made the trip down with his honda civic, so it was also nice to spend some time with another car instead of my own. Dan came out too to race his beetle. I'm sure we all would have had abit more fun if it was not so hot.
