Hi All,
Well, found a pretty decent little car. Haven't even picked it up yet, but putting a listing up anyways.
Dont' have the time, space or money to keep it right now unfortunately, but couldn't pass up the find.
Here the story.
57 black oval, one original owner that i'm buying from. He bought it new for his wife as the grocery car. He has the bill of sale, owners manual, detailed documentation of all and any work done from day one all og keys, tools in kit with jack. Under 70,000km on this car. Every piece is there and it's totally complete. He was a mechanical engineer and seemingly anal about everything in regards to maintenance and documentation.
Comes with 25 boxes of parts from a 58 beetle that he parted out at some point that was also low mileage but in an accident, including the complete motor from that.He parked the oval in the 80's when his wife died where it was in the garage. Late nineties he moved it outside.
The car is complete, and has been started every month and still runs perfect. Needs interior resto.
Door panels are good, headliner ok, seat in front toast back ok. good patina. ZERO RUST. all og paint except hood which may have been changed. Outta room here to write more.
Looking to sell, you tell me what it worth to you, NO LOWBALLERS or i'd love to trade for a nice type 34 ghia.
This is an amazing little find, and has to be one of the last out there in this neck of the woods.
