Kelowna Racing June 5 with video

For anybody wanting to come out and see me race at the street legals,  6:00 racing starts at Thunder Mountain.  I can pick up anybody along the way in Salmon arm, Marty,Jason, and Todd.  And Kirin and Geoff I can pick you up in Vernon too.  I would leave Sicamous 3:00 in the afternoon.  Racing is done at 9:00pm.

My neighbor with buddies, will be coming too, but driving his 2010 camaro ss with new exhaust system, and chipped too.  He thinks his car is so fast with the 480 hp it puts out   he wants to race me cause I drive a slow beetle  haha he will get the butt waxing treatment from all his freinds that are coming after I beat him.  He was talking the talk bigtime infront of all his buddies yesterday.  I forsee a youtube video coming vw vs Camaro ss

Had a blast,   no video till I get my computer back.  will have to post them later. Good pictures Marty.

best time was 7.600 @ 92.99,   best 60' was 1.89, and I had 14 psi in the slicks with  a burnout, traction just wasn't happening with no VHT on the track.  The 4300'  elevation takes 3mph away in my car. 

Next week I'm back to Osoyoos hunting for a 6 second 1/8 mile slip @ 100+ mph, thats a 10 second 1/4 mile for you guys who can only relate  to 1/4 times    hard to beleive this is from a singleport 82 x 90 on a stock tranny.  Boost will be upped to 20psi , thats 50 more hp, so either I will blow the tranny, or get my time. Car has allready been 7.22 @ 96 with a 1.62 60' , 6's  (10's) just around the corner.

  Don't worry kevin your puttin the passes on it and makin it to the track .You will get your timeslip and your ET. just keep tinkering away .Nice to see a budget racecar and driver having a great time was fun Sat nite . Now hurry up and blow that stock box put the good one in and up the boost man

I am looking forward to Sunday bigtime, I am ready to start upping the boost slowly now.  Glad I can make an impact for the vw crowd in other places than the fraser valley.  Here's to hoping I can get my 6 this sunday

Here is the video of the 4 runs from Saturday night, thankyou for doing the videoing Marty .  The red Acadian was running 7.7-8 @ 90 mph on his other runs, so I thought we need to race each other.  I ran a 7.600 @ 92.99 against him, that run also had  my fastest 60' that night, track had no VHT on it,  I had 14 psi in the slicks.  Last pass did the burn out, still lit up the tires on the launch.  Ohwell, then it downpoured monsoon rain.
