Mission T&T

I have booked a spot for T&T at Mission for April 9.  Anybody else ready yet?  I will say though, if the weather looks not favorable, I won't be showing up.  Will be going for that 11 second slip.  Will be playing with 14 to 20 psi boost this time.

I'm pretty sure I won't be coming down.  Our truck just lost its tranny, and unless its something electrical and easily diagnosed tomorow, it won't be fixed by Thursday at 4:00 which is the latest I should leave by so I could be there for Friday.  To say I am disapointed is an understatement.  This just sucks.  I hope it is an electrical solenoid or something less than $1000.  My friend had his same tranny rebuilt for $5400.00...OUCH!  I don't need that right now.

Dont worry about it James, er Kev. The weather isnt looking so good for friday anyway. I havnt heard back from the track for confirmation  yet. So, I dont know if I even have a spot. Maybe I do now.......

Don't count me out just yet, scan in my driveway says solenoid pack, so taking it in at 11:00 to double check, could have the truck ready still if that is all it is. Heres to hoping.  Enviroment canada weather says showers for friday, well if its not the truck that keeps me back, the weather might.

Hey Cheech, definately not going to the T&T. Never got a confimation and was told that they were fully booked. I want to do a T&T before I take it to the street legals. I need some seat time and want to make sure it goes straight.
I will make sure I make it to the next one. Its all ready to go.

I will also try for the next one too.   Brian your smart for not wanting to do street legals until a T&T is done first.  Saftey first  ;D

   Wow, the trip down would have been pushing snow the whole way yesterday, and today the coq looked horible this morning.  I can't imagine driving with an open trailer towing my car with the amount of snow that was falling.  We woke up to 1" on the ground and it snowing lots.  Crazy weather forsure.   I can't tell from the web cam if there is T&T right now, so maybe it was delayed some cause of the wet track.  I guess the sign for manditory winter tires till April 30 is for a reason up here.  We havn't seen snow this late since moving up here.

Great time last night out at the friday night street legals. Man those mazdas are gettin fast, I think one ran a 10.16. The burnout competition was great but I really think Geoff could have walked away with the trophy last night.
