Yeah, it's mine and is currently at 17th and 146A in South Surrey where I am getting it sorted out for inspection and general roadworthiness. Over the last week since driving it back from Edmonton (a whole other story), I have become quite friendly with the CIP guys. It needs quite a bit of work, and the 'paint job' you see in the photos is quite something as only the areas that were worked on were painted, not up to the beltline.

One area that will have to be fixed for the inspection, is the cross beam under the nose. It's rusted through in spots and will need cleaning up and welding. Are there any shops or people in the Surrey/Langley area able to do this without a huge bill and two months of downtime? I might do it myself, but it's a bit more involved than I would normally tackle.

Anyway, this van will be my DD when I'm not on my scooter or Norton so give me a wave if you see me driving around.

BTW: I am going to sell the middle seat, and am looking for 5 spokes . . . .

Cheers!
Mark

Nice find Mark. Good to see you rolling something cool and vintage besides the Commando.
For the beam work you might try talking to AVR Import Specialties. They did the pans on my Ghia and do great work.

Thanks, Dutch!

I was out on the Commando today, and it was fantastic.

I gotta get her welded up, seatbelts in then a few small problems sorted out before inspection. Can't wait!

Cheers,
Mark
