Does anyone know where I can find the new Hot VW's? I have been everywhere and its still the old one. I beleive its the March issue.

AVR has a few issues March issues left.  Call Vic or Art at 604-852-9024 and they'll set one aside for you.

I've been getting Chapters in Coq. to put away a copy of HVW's each month for the last couple of years.  Too hard to find over here on the dark side of the river otherwise! 

No March 2010 yet which is very strange.  Feb. still on the shelf (about 5 copies) so the mags haven't come from the distributor yet.  March should have been here a couple of weeks ago.

Wonder how many distributors handle the mag locally and if there is enough of a demand.

I always get my magazine from Save on as well. Pretty soon April will be out. Pretty strange that I cant find it out here.

Since I've had my march issue for several weeks now, and have read it front to back multiple times, I will rent my copy out to anyone who is unable to find a copy of their own for the amazingly low price of $2 per day.      Yes, it is true.

Thats not true either. Your still supporting the magazine by buying it off the shelf every month...

Usually the magazine is in the stores on time. I dont know whats going on but as far as folding I hope not as I need motivation over the winter.

In regards to your rumors about Hot VWs, let it be known directly from the staff, that Hot VWs is alive and well! We have shipped each (monthly) issue on time, to the printer, and from the printer without delay since 1967! But once it goes into the mail system, it is out of our hands. We are NOT going away, and just because some local store still has some older copies has nothing to do with the health and well being of the magazine itself. Local distributors control that movement, which means they are behind and not up to date which is unfortunate. Thanks to one and all for your years of support. Dean Kirsten, Hot VWs magazine

With brown envelopes they'll probably think it's porn then and swipe them all.
I have missed a couple of issues in the mail but call up the mag and they will credit your subscription at least.

Years ago we had to switch from kraft sleeves to poly bags due to the type of bindery we are using. The machines that place the subscription sticker on the outside will only work on a very particular type of plastic bag, and will not work on paper. Just FYI, we are currently printed in Minnesota, and up to very recently, the company that printed us (since 1986ish) was Quebecor, Canadian-based. They have since been bought out, or consumed/taken over by World Color, which originally printed HVWs back in the seventies. I remember driving by one of Quebecor's printing plants in Vancouver, on my way to Geoff's shop and your show....

Brian, you still looking for pictures of your Weak Ass Fiat?      Sorry couldn't resist.  I really think you should put this on  a small decal on one of the windows.  Of all the vw cars going to be showing up at mission, yours will be the jaw dropping one that will make an impression.
