My sister has decided to buy a truck instead of fixing up her vws. She has taken some pictures of the 62 but has yet to email them to me. The motor did run in the 62 but I stole the 009 + petronix out of it for my notch a few months ago.I believe it is a 1600sp. Pan is nice, Lower body has the usual rust. There is also rust where the drivers side door pillar meets the heater channel. Some rust showing through where rear fenders meet up with body (not that bad) Dash has been cut for radio etc. Interior is some 1980s flannel jobby but its all there. Someone will restore this one.
I am 99% sure the other is a 72, but is definately a standard beetle, not a super. She bought it with the intent for a manx, but doesn't have the time. The longblock was mine, so I took it back, but since I put it into a type 3, all the beetle fan shroud, tins, alternator, exhaust etc all still there. Front seats are not stock. I really don't know what they are out of. Tires and gas tank are new. She didn't give me a price yet, but she just wants to be fair. I am willing to pull the bodies if you just want a chasis for a manx etc. If interested, let me know. They are located in Sechelt but delivery is available.
