Shane Marriot looses loved one in Tragic Fire
« on: December 14, 2009, 12:41:05 PM »
For those of us who know Shane Marriot (Shane's Automotive, The Bug Shop), on December 4th he lost his wife Michele in a house fire. He is OK and being cared for but is in mourning. There will be a memorial service Saturday December the 19th. It would be great if all affected by this wonderful man (you know what I mean) could give him support at this time and be with him at Michele's Memorial.
    Gary.

HAYES Lisa Michele May 15, 1956 - December 4, 2009 It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the sudden passing of wife, mother, grandmother Lisa Michele Hayes. She will be dearly missed by husband and her 2 sons and family, numerous brothers, sisters and family; husband: Shane Marriott, sons: Lucas Hayes (Melissa, Zechariah), Ian Hayes (Ethan); brothers and sisters: Syd Hayes (Susan), Nina Hayes, Susan Hayes, Ian Hayes (Anne Marie), Pete Hayes (Terry). Michele will always be remembered for her love of life, music, friends and family (pets), kindheartedness and firm belief in her faith. A celebration of life and prayers will be held at Ward Memorial Baptist Church, 465 East Kamloops Street (1/2 block south of Hastings), Vancouver, Saturday, December 19, 1PM. In memory of her mother, in lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Foundation will be greatly appreciated.

Shane is not only a good mechanic but a Coast mtn. bus driver as well. Apparently he lost everything in the fire except for the clothes on his back, which was his uniform.
My condolences go out to his family.
