Good Ford Mechanic needed.

Hey Guys.

I am in need of a really good Ford Mechanic. My instructor's 2001 expedition is spitting out codes like its going out of style, billowing clouds of black smoke and no power. 5.4l. Anyone?

I think that year has the MAS air system, Look for a dirty or blocked MAS air flow sensor, its located on the clean air side of the intake hose to the motor, check for any obvious vacume leaks
or disconnected wiring , You really need a scan tool to obtain the Fault codes, Try not to drive the Vehicle for very long, as it will eventually burn out the Catolitic converter.

 Good luck     Jimmy D
