the good news is i've figured out why she can't hold an idle... long story short, rebuilt the carb and had it in for a few days, but everytime i come to a stop it sputters and dies. so some sort of vaccuum leak, right? i snugged everything up again, and in the process of tightening the front nut to secure carb to intake manifold, the bolt comes right out.
so, perhaps a stupid question, but before i run over to KMS to pick up what i think i need, thought i'd double check: i'm gonna have to tap carb right? is there anything i should be cautious about when tapping a carb? i figure it's pretty much the same as tapping a case, but thought i'd ask around to be sure... :blush: thanks y'all.
