well, i gave it a lot of time. it seems to me when a guys says "sure you can take pics of my bus , please send me a pic" that that fella will honour the request. i guess this fella is an asshole by all definitions. i have been quite patient, like almost a year, so i am still surprised i have had no response. i have hit his private page and i gave my address at last years show, not to mention my numerous pm's through this forum.

 in my mind this guy's a jerk and frankly if he is to photo our cars, buses, etc he should provide pics if we ask. not to mention ask permission in writing. many of us spend many long hours building our vehicles and i am for one insulted with the behavior of this fella whom i considered a trustworthy VW enthusiast.

I am hoping for some support from anyone whom agrees.

an apology is just that. if that is not good enough for some of you than tuff. thank you to the person who provided a picture. i was being genuine and at this point after giving my reasons and taking responsibility if you would like to not except my apology than frankly i feel i have done my part. i have apologized to to carlos and the forum. close and personal friend well tuff i had an agreement with carlos that he did not meet. word is my bond and he did not meet for what ever reason.

i have a family, have a business and work full time running a maximum forensic security unit for the criminally insane 23 to exact. this doesn't mean i do not meet promises to my friends. carlos and i had an agreement, yes i should have not beaked off but at this point i am through apologizing and am telling you silas to go pound sand. if i was in person i might phrase it otherwise. i get you would all like to knock me for my outburst but if this is the community is what i expected well then you can let it go.

i am done talking about this. i have said my piece.

 So...I am the guy with the flamed van...
and I get this phone call saying    " hey, there's some guy talkin shit bout you on the forum..."  

well my first time here in almost a year and this is what i come back to...  ...  

Firstly we never had an agreement ...you are SOME GUY i met for 5min in a dark parking lot while i crawled around on my hands and knees trying to make your bus look good...for MY photo collection . I didn't see a press pass on me nor did I receive any payment for shooting, downloading  or retouching or uploading said pics....i believe i said i'd try and get u a copy if i could...THATS IT!!!
My life of late has been crazy( also none of your business)...so i cant even begin to tell you how NOT on my list of "things to do today " you are.

So...against my girlfriend's better judgment ( she thinks i should tell you to fuck off and be done with it)..I've posted your precious pics. And you are right I DON'T have permission ( which i don't need anyway...lol ) to use these so i have deleted all the pics of your van from my memory card..so you don't have to keep this thread going or ever talk to me  again for that reason..THERE ARE NO MORE PICS!!!
and i cant say how long these will last on my server either...so get copies now!!

much like chris said on page 1...you voiced your opinion and you need to accept the fact that there will be repercussions.

look at it this way...a relative stranger (you, 20 posts on this forum, 10 of which are in this 1 thread alone and 10 more in the classifieds looking for stuff) literally walked into a room full of people and called the birthday boy (carlos, a guy that's been around for awhile and goes to lots of shows, cruises, and events and helps organize events and takes & shares some of his incredible pics with the community) an asshole and a jerk and told us all that his word means nothing. how do you think we're going to react?

and i'm not saying carlos is a god and you're a nothing. i just mean that is not a very good introduction/first impression on your part.

this forum, community and people in it are extremely friendly, welcoming, helpfull and forgiving...so you were not misled. sure you appologized...and that's great...but you cant expect immediate red carpet action after what you said.

 I'm glad I saw the original post after the guy deleted it.... he's acting as though he did nothing wrong. Those are some pretty heavy words to pop on a PUBLIC and family based forum.
