i would say non i guess if i went bonzi on it it could be drivable, but 36er across moutains...fun!

as much as i would love to bring em both out i think for now just the 59 ive thought about the car route as well at this point kinda looks like the cheapest way....

Running might have got you a tow with one of the Rally teams coming out west in October, but since it's not running...

give searail a call there on ananis  island. they will tell you where the nearest drop point is in ont .runners were about 1,000 to ship by rail if running or they will take non runners for 1,900, they ship out  by truck. i used them with no problems.

Searail hires out 3rd party (though will tell you otherwise).. I had a HUGE claim against them for damage to my truck. They wiped their hands of it because they claimed they don't cover vehicles over 10 years old. Luckily I had paid extra for separate insurance through ICBC... Searail is NOT a company to give money to.

sorry to hear about your bad luck with searail , i guess we have all had good and bad dealings with the same people or stores and the next ten are all good ones.they did tell me a third party would truck my car out to me, maybe i was lucky this past winter as my car was loaded with many nos items , like complete og headlights in og boxes, og rear tail lights, new bumpers,nos 26mm carb, etc all packed inside the unlocked car with no glass installed. this all took 3 months to get here due to snow  and sitting in three different lots across canada. it all showed up intacked, with  a newborn there was no way for me to leave to tow the car home. a 14 foot  rental van would have cost the same plus my time.the dice was in my favor i guess.   cheers

Searail ....... claimed they don't cover vehicles over 10 years old.

Everyone knows that $hit happens.  There's always the possibility of damage due to a bad driver who doesn't care. 

But this response indicates a company wide policy to screw the customer.  This is why we should not use this co.  Regardless of how many successful deliveries they make.

thanks to chris (vwboop) i think ive found a company to ship via rail, and rather decent on the pricing as well ill let yas know in a few months my opinion of the operation, thanks for the help
