Anyone know how to get a locking gas cap off a bus?

The gas cap on Chuck's bus failed air care so I bought a locking one at Lordco. We have the keys but they don't seem to be doing anything. Chuck can't drive his bus if we can't get gas in it Anyone dealt with this before? I don't care if we have to destroy the gas cap.

you could always pull the sending unit out and drop in a lit match.  Once the fire was put out you might find that the cap was blown off. HEHEHE

Anr I was going to recommend a cutting torch


Can you get at the 3 screws holding the filler flange on? Remove it with the cap still attached and depress the ears from inside once it's off. Tried some WD40 around the seal area and pushing in while you turn the key? Might  be worth calling Keyhole locksmiths and seeing what they say or can do, they make housecalls AFAIK.

Thanks for the ah great advice guys Cheech told me to rip the lock cyllinder out with a screwdriver. In the process of trying to do this it popped and I managed to get the key in and it came off the rest of the way. Saved the day once again
