bus ambulance fans

Whats the deal with bus ambulance fans, I see them on the samba selling for big money.
(bay window era)
I dont understand how they are so in demand?
Anyone know??

They are not common hence the value of them. However price a set of split bus fans and the baywindow ones start to look cheap. The Samba also tends to inflate prices for good or bad as we all know.
 It's actually interesting to see the price of some fat chick bus parts now. 10 years ago you couldn't give some of that stuff away. :D

Yeah the prices have started to go thru the roof on bay stuff. The ambulance fans for Bay are still kinda hard to find and work ok ( I have them in my bus) Wait till you find a free or very cheap set.

One of the reasons I decided to pick up a bay sooner then later, while I can.
I can only imagine what they will be going for in 5 years. ::)

Thats the issue, I have like 12 sets of them, I am putting a set in my bay this week.
I guess I will know the pains soon!!
