Saturday started out with abunch of family sitting around, and then somebody made the comment about a freinds farm out in Matsqui and the straight road in front of their house....we'll, 30 minutes later we all were there, Put on 15 runs X2 (there and back) lots of video, and everyone got a few runs in the car. Nothing but smiles from everyone.....Then off to KMS for a car show. We pull up aways down the street from KMS cause it is busy, and a guy comes running toward my truck, huffing and pufing asks if my car was going into the burnout contest...which started right now. I coudn't pass it up, and they were willing to wait for me while I unloaded from down the street. The car was still good and warm too , so the day also included the attempted burnout, I say attempted cause 4 tries in the box and the car came out each time, probably cause I had just lowered the slicks down to 16 so it would make more smoke, next time I will use street tires . So 4 tries later and no huge smoke show, ohwell had fun. One of the tries I had it in 4th by accident, it was to be in 2nd, it actually spun the tires and smoked them pretty good, but the engine was bogging close to 4000 rpm, not sure if it actually made boost, cause once I came out of the water box, I had to hit the brakes pretty fast cause one of the other cars was sitting about 40 ' in front of me. Still it suprised me it actually pulled it and had the power to spin.
