and after the mall parking lot party a few of us cruised out to the hot rod meet at tim hortons in langley....

I'm thinking that rain had nothing to do with the cancelled race.

It was probably related to this event, happening at the track on Saturday and Sunday.

They knew it was the event of the year for the local VWs. It sucks to know that we were set aside for a non racing event that could have been held anyway after the Friday event.

If CRINGE ???we had been domestics we would have run ,but I like being the vw underdog Not much respect even when you beat them .Oh well I spent my money elsewhere an hung with people that enjoy a common interest . And have a great memory when dissed to bad Rick Farmer wasn't around he would have made it happen . Nice pics Alan better luck at the make-up

ha....they knew mike reno would spend so much money at the snack bar on saturday that they could afford to not make any money on friday.
