Cowell VW in Richmond, Anyone have a connection there?
« on: July 27, 2009, 08:22:47 AM »
Were looking to have as many Split Beetles at this years show as possible and would like to have the black split from Cowell VW. Anyone have a contact there? It's a long shot trying to get that car out to the show but it would be nice to see it on display.

7-8 would be very very nice to see. The show is always great but rarely does the very very old stuff show up. Very excited for this year!!!

Cowell VW is run by crooks.  >:( >:( >:( I was screwed over twice by them. Once with a car deal that took forever and paper work that was screwed up. The next time I had my CDs stolen from my car and then found a bunch of shotty wiring that they had done previous to me buying the car. End result was a Corrado with a bunch of "ghostly" electrical issues. Left me stranded on the Coquilhalla twice. Basically got some smoke blown in my derriere by Rand Cowell and nothing happened. Lost my shirt when I had to resell 4 months later. The only reason I would ever head there would be to urinate on the lot.  >:( >:( >:(

It won't be that one. Dana sold that car many years ago.  The one he'll bring will be the cable brake 52 standard.

He's already married...he can skip it! ;) :D
However I would be pissed at him if he did, cause I'm missing the GCVWS for his 2nd wedding of the year. ;D
