photo shoot locations
« on: July 26, 2009, 09:16:27 PM »
Does anyone know any good locations in lower mainland for a car photoshoot? Looking for something with a cool building, house, etc.. or something that would make great back drop for a photoshoot... In your travels if you see a killer spot please let me know.

Thx, Gavin

Gavin,

Talk to Andrew Holliday - He's been putting a lot of cars into magazines lately and has found a lot of really good places in the lower mainland.

Depends of the 'mood' you want to.. I've see some great inductial photos with cars.. but if it's more of a 'classic' look, aim for scenery or heritage sites.

Carlos... aka deadlytoys has a great location at his place down in southlands area (west van) very botton of Balaclava right on the fraser river. There is some really old warehouses with great patina paint on em also some farm type scenery aswell. A few pics to give you an idea.

This is all on his property. There are more locations down around his place too.

I know a guy with a huge hardwall wrap-around cyc stage. You know, those giant white rooms where you can shoot videos, cars etc. It is downtown Vancouver.
