as it stands...i'm undecided as to whether or not the 2009 SMC will be run on aug 28th or if it'll be held over until next year.
here's my thinking.....there was alot of enthusiasm and what looked to be a good turnout for the 2009 SMC on friday night. this of course had to do with the fact that it was the big weekend and that everyone was there to participate as a large acvw group. my concern is that we just wont get enough people out on the 28th to really make it happen. also...i put alot of time & effort into the trophies as well as gathering sponsors and prizes and as much as i'd like to give it all away to the people that show up...i also would like to see a healthy turnout so everyone has a fair chance to participate in the fun.
from the looks of last friday....these we're the people & cars i noted as showing up and being ready/confirmed to participate...

so from the looks of it we had 9 confirmed and a couple extras that probably would have joined in the fun. that's a great turnout (it would have been the best yet!)...and i'm just not sure if we'd get that for the 28th?
so here's what i want from all of you. input, feedback and opinions!!!! let me know what you all think.
also...who from the lists above can confirm for the 28th?
if it comes down to it...i'll re-plaque the trophies and save them for next year (not a big deal)!
