New ink!
« on: July 03, 2009, 11:35:14 AM »
Here I am almost 50 and getting my first tat. My friends keep asking if I'm going through a midlife crisis =) It took me about 2 years to decide to do it. But here it is.

Before color

Finished

I'll post up pics when it's healed. The color should be awesome then.

My celtic heritage. The basic design of the cross is from around 400AD. The triangle on the top is a symbol for the trinity "father, son, holy spirit". The hands and heart is what is call a "claddagh" it symbolizes love, friendship, and loyalty.

All healed up. Now it's time for some shadows to the knotwork.

I just noticed the colors on my daughters camera are a little off. The crown, wrist cuffs and rings on the outer circle are supposed to be purple.
