If Dan doesn't want to play with busses anymore than it's not cool enough for me either.

Hey boys (and girls) just bought a house and could really use the $ to build a shop?? I can see it now Vintage Volksies up and running. My bus is not that straight I will tell you right now. I just sanded and painted. Couple of rust holes fixed. A new Right rocker. I still have the left one (Wolfgang) and the body work on the left side looks wavy. It is definetly a real nice looking bus...just not perfect for you perfectionists. It could use a couple days on the long board for that. However, the outriggers and frame is REAL solid and it is all there. I bought it from Wenatchee and that guy bought it a year and a half ago from a dude in Spokane who bought it new. He drove it till the engine seized in 84 and parked it. That's all I know and much of the info I just gave is priveleged to Airspeed members only. As for my comment about Asking price.....make me an offer and we can see.

May do another one. For that price I am doing all right. Plus it will start my resto shop. Ghia would be cool too. I won't sell outr on Vw's though. Unlike some people I know ;)

besides, if Kyle ran the label better....maybe i'd have some spare cash instead of debt  :lol:

Seems to me I've been driving a VW for the last 3 years(all be it a water pumper).  How many miles have you put on in a VW in the last 2 years?  I mean one you actually owned and not borrowed.  I agree that everything is for sale for the right price but you best be careful who you are calling a sell out from now on.

Who said anything about dropping Vee Dubs???? I am only saying that if someone wants to pay a ridiculous amount for a car then mine is for sale. It looks like I may be getting a deposit for it on Tuesday for my full asking price. Who wouldn't sell for that? I can get another one, sell it, another one, sell it, and so on. It is not just the ride I enjoy but the fixing up. I would be crazy not to sell that bus for 7k USD. Who here wouldn't??? I can buy another one and still have $ in my pocket.
