I have a '65 bus many of you are familiar with...daily driver, camper, road trip warrior. Anyways, lots of memories.
My bus needs the frame horns replaced as they have rusted badly, and cracked. had them welded last summer, but there was not a lot of good metal left.
I now have a complete rear frame from the torsion tube and back to graft in. I figure it would be best to cut just the frame horns out and graft these in, but I'm no expert. Anyway, the complete rear frame is there to use. The bus has IRS conversion, so I can remove the engine and tranny, and still have a rolling bus. I can remove the running gear at home and tow to you, or drive it to you and remove then. I would love to keep this faithful bus alive. PLease help!
