hit Toronto for the weekend, surprised the family. Also got a big surprise when I met with friends on Friday night for coffee. "Dave, why don't you take my car for the weekend?" A buddy suggested.
I've been discussing getting into a Porsche 914 or 911 with him, and I guess he figured I needed to taste perfection to really commit to the idea. Lets just say I spent the weekend in complete fear of Ontario's speeding laws and leave it at that?
Now, this does belong here...it's aircooled, and twin-turbo. It also goes like a missle, but has the exact same solid door closing sound and feeling as my '75. Parts of it are eerily Beetle, and yet it's so very much not.
