Well you are comming back pretty soon . Next year I go for sure. Can't wait to see pics. Hope you all had a good time and found what you needed. Any good border crossing stories , or incredile finds in the swapmeet . Let us know so we can kick ourselves in the ass for not making it. Luckily my buddy Eric was going to do some snooping for me. Going outside to play on the van today to take mind off missing puyallup . :(

No worries Outkast! Next year we all ride. just think of it ......57.....59......66.....all in line from S.A. to Puyallup. We'll leave early and spend a night in Langley at the Folks. Just to break up the sound of a 1500sp echoing for 5 hours at 3000RPM

IMO - show was nowhere near what it used to be. Half the swap area was empty, same cars in the show as every other year. All I bought was a tshirt for me and my daughter

I was kinda dissapointed too. Thought the swap was weak, plus it cost 8 bucks to get in, do they raise the price every year? I thought it was 6 bucks last time....good thing the good ol' Canadian boys never charge admission for spectatotrs.

They probably raised the admission price cause everyone was bitching about the car entry fee price last year. I think it was like 35.00 US last year to enter your car in the show. So they lowered the car entry fee, but raised the peeps fee. Like we wouldn't notice.

Yeah that Vanagon is Eric Didier's.  He just finished putting a Subaru WRX engine in it (2.0 Turbo).  He had a sound clip of it and it sounded bad ass!  There's some details on VWVortex in the Van forum on it (pop in and say hi - I'm the moderator  :P )
