It turned out that I had the wrong shop.

The shop where i took my car told me one thing and did another. They fixed the fender but told me the ICBC ( Gestapo style in my opinion) would not pay as they claimed that a scrape on the plastic bumper was more that what happened to the bumper during the fender bender. They also told me th ICBC is their boss. I was so pissed and was not about to take out on the young fellow at the counter. I just wanted to get my car back so, I signed the ^$#%^&& paper and left.

With the tools and the space, I could have done a better job and I do accounting for a living. They actually painted  without smoothing the area, over the scrape and a bubble of previous bad paint job (prior to me owning it.)

If you are ever looking for a shop in South Burnaby, I would not recommend the one that i went to. >:(
