the band has been on a good run as of late!!!

the HNIC intro on CBC, some good coverage in the media, they placed 2nd in the 2010 peak performance project, they just successfully completed their first US tour (even tho a bunch of their gear got stolen in sacramento), they're currently doing a cross canada tour with Tokyo Police Club (a good band to open for) that included a sold out show at the commodore last night, they are about to embark on their first ever European tour, and...

...they won a Juno for best new group!!!!

sorry to gush about this...but imho, there are 2 sides to music. there are alot of very talented artists out there and it's difficult to stand out against the rest and get what you deserve. or it's pre-packaged, thoughtless, dribbley, blaaa. it's nice to see this band get some credit for their music and their hard work!! i'm pretty damn proud & happy for their success!! :D :cool:
