I think you have me stumped Shawn , It looks just like the Diamond Green Metallic 58 deluxe beetle that Brett Walker sold to someone down south about 7 years ago .

I think it looks like 58 deluxe that Shane Constant sold to someone down in Cali. He sold it to a Jap. Photographer, would probably explain why the site is half in Jap. writing. I think Geoff took the car down one year for the classic i think?

Was Shane the original owner of the car?  I think this was owned by Mr.Walker, this is "bugging me" so sorry about that.  Just wondering.
I remember this being for sale at the Great Canadian VW Show.

No Shane wasn't . I do remember that the car was I think a one owner? Inside was great except headliner.

I talked with Brett today at work , and yes this was his old car , he was not the original owner but he bought it as a one owner trade in at VW pacific back in the 70s . I was pretty sure it was his old car when I saw your post the first time as he was offering me the car back around the time he sold it for , I think he wanted $4000.00 .

You could be right about that , I don't think Brett took it down south , I remember him telling me it went down south but that may very well have been after he sold it .
