What a way to spend a day.  A beautiful day, good friend, two old buses ('57 and my '67) and a great adventure..... and only one wrong turn!

Here's the video links... HINT "change them to High quality.  The standard resolution sucks.

NO VW's were harmed in the making of these videos

For some reason the successful runs of Marty's '57 and mine didn't upload.  I'll try again in a bit.  ENJOY!

Cool pics guys. Where abouts is Mt Isa? Looked like quite an adventure. Espesially in the Vdubs. My long weekend has been in Ellington, Connecticut with the outlaws (inlaws). ::) Actually the last two weeks has been with the inlaws. We went to up state New York as well which was pretty cool. Watkins Glen (camping) to be specific. Hope all had a good one. Looking forward to getting home and back to work on the '59.

Mt Ida resides literally in our back yard.  Interior of B.C (Salmon Arm).  It made the news back in 1998 when a wild fire ripped up one side of it and settled in the volcano crater up top.  The pictures of us up on the rock is close to where the fire was finally put out

That is so cool. Now I think I'm going to have to change directions with the single cab again.

Well after much grief converting the HD video so Youtube would accept it I now have the successful runs up and working.  Still haven't figured out why it accepted the first two but wouldn't the others.  Anyways.... here ya go:
