Definately go to Berlin there is a million and one things there, some of the most friendly people i ever met,i would recommend the Berlin wall museum and the jewish museum by daniel liebskind, truly moving,although when i got to see it it was actually empty before it opened, East berlin is sweet, i found loads just wandering...
