Factory Fuel Injection

Is it possible to increase bore/stroke using the factory fuel injection, and still have it operate within limits?  has anyone done this before?  If so, what type of results did you have?

You can't do much with the open loop FI.  If it goes rich or lean, it won't compensate.

I have heard of guys going up to 1776 with no problems.

I built a 1584cc engine with slightly higher CR, an Engle 100 cam, 35x32 Type 3 heads that were slightly ported.  The car ran better than any carburated stocker I've ever had.
