Want My Towbar Back
« on: February 29, 2008, 04:42:42 PM »
A few years back there was a lady that drove a 1969? beetle convertable that was red and white in color.  When I was on my way down to bug nationals in seattle..... or maybe it was yakima I forget,  she blew her engine just on the US side of the border.    I thought I would save her a few bucks and offer her the use of my towbar instead of having to use towtrucks.   I forget her name but she was in her 40s or 50s... This was the old vw club in the surrey area G.V.VWA? or something like that.  ANyways... or course, the towbar never came back to me.  IF anyone remember this lady or knows who she is.. can you let me know.. I just figured at the time that the older you get the more responsible you became.. Obviously I was mistaken.
Sweat, blood or tears Lady... I am getting my towbar back :)  Thanks. Ted.  North Delta.  Also looking for a manx clone body.

Stunned?   I am still thinking about \"stunned\"  Thanks Darren... and Matt.   I still have that signal switch hanging in my garage.  John doesn't want it I guess.  Well.. I am happy to hear Sunny still has her car,... which means I will still get my towbar back :)  If someone knows where she lives or how to get a hold of her, I can drop Darren off his signal switch when I go get my towbar.
