Wow ...thanks guys for the reception,

I always tried to treat everyone I met quite well, and I remeber most, so that being said I don't know your forum names vs your real names, so please let me know who you are....

As for your request, I could write a book about all the vw stuff I have done in bc/wash in the past 25 years. Fond memories. (Like getting expelled at school for pulling 2nd gear wheelies, or buying 6 ovals on bradner road from 3 different places on the same day)

When I have more time I will fill you guys in on the past 10 years, but for now... yes I still have a stash, including some real early stuff and big-motors. I have been collecting up stuff ever since I left Langley, some of it is here at my orchard in the okanagan. The rest is being stored in wash state and a big warehouse in kelowna area.

It will be great hearing from you guys on here...

Hey Mike, Good to see you found the forum...The 911 motor and trans is still going well in the Bus and that green Oval Vert windsheild frame you had 10-15 years ago became my Heb Rod.

Welcome.

...Running down a GTO and handing him his ass at the traffic lights 2 blocks from school.
...Car shows at the house in Sullivan.

Glad to here your still kickin!

Wow where do I start...

Brian Cook   .. yep Woody's  I almost forgot, that actually ended up being one of the best things to ever happen to me!
You are still the original LD!
Jason...  I forgot you and DD went to my school..  yes 2110, bigggg heads fk89, rockers, a bunch of compression, 48's, completely bare bones.... built from spare parts from the field on 156th.... ugliest turd I ever drove. When the tach hit 8,000 the you pulled the berg into 2nd. The mill ended up in my 1960 lowered 7-door panel, bent a rod taking martin for a hair parter.

Marty.. yes lots of good times...  too bad you moved to salmon arm after i cleaned out Valley Wagen.. one of the best nos hauls i ever cleaned out of an attic.  The 52 single cab he had ended up being one of the 5 oldest in the world..  Does he still have those t3 ghias at his home?

Gary Ball... the guy I always got asked if he was my Brother...   still remember the landlord ordeal when you were roomin with paul... nice to hear from you

Geoff..  hats off to you.. you have been consistantly holding the torch.... still have the hat. the cowl came out of puyallup swap meet years ago, I sold the deck lid to a wanker in texas, and the rear h-apron cut to a guy in ontario...

Darren.. I remember when you worked for me, you had that black 68/69 bug. the absolute lowest front bug to ever grind the bypass...  the balljoints were kinked in the arms from hardriding the joints...  Darren killer cars man..  we will have to talk about the split so you get the \"real story\"..

Jason I think i remember you.. what car were you driving back then?

Anyways guys... I will try to be a regular on here from now on, now that I found this forum... I have a million old pics...

Here are some names.. anybody know whats goin on with them? (sorry about any mis-spelling)

Greg Hoing?                    the guy who got me into early vw's
Mike Grocott?                 (he was working on my old 64 ts wagon)
Mike Stermsnig?
Jason/curtis from abby?  sold curtis a really clean 67 beetle from utah
Fat Shane                        the beast
Al (al's beetlemania)
Brad Purser                      papa smoothskin
Joe Sotet                         best carport painter of all time
Hans Kreiger...                 awesome mellow guy....
Ted- from newton area     had that nice 69 notch
Mark weissart                  first guy in bc to have a cal bug featured in hot-vws

the bigsby guys

And if you want to start memories, how about the seatlle weekend when jeff walters and rk smith from hot-vw's pull us over on freeway offramp, and follows us down to that campground..

or the next year when fat-shane jack-knifed the hot tub..

Or the motel fire alarm in fife?

thanks for all the replies guys.... been great getting back in touch..
