Now Have I just lived in the sticks to long or is the lowermainland going nuts . Man with the murders ,beatings ,gun violence ,theft ,Skytrain hooligans . We used to stay out late on Scott road Mall with all are cars shooting the bull and cruising downtown late at night . I don't remeber it as that bad .Man i used to leave all of my volkswagens parked right out in front of my house but I don't think to many of you leave them out in plane site . I hope this trend turns around

When I left the guilford area to come here there was a shoot out with cops at a local bar but that was pretty rare at that time . Has the recent event s down ther changed any of your habits as to times and places you won't go or drive to avoid trouble . Anyways take care what each others backs . Sorry fro the downer post just trying to gauge if I'm over reacting to the times .

Hey Marty. Aldergrove area is good. I will elaborate on this post once I get my bulletproof vest off, close the gates at the end of the drive, shut the blinds, load the shotgun and get into something more comfortable

i'm a firm believer that it doesnt really matter where you live...there is still going to be a ton of bad shit happening. i grew up on the island (denman & the comox valley) and there was stuff that would happen there that would make your head swim. imho, it has alot to do with population. more people = more bad news.

as far as visiting the less desirable areas of town....i just use some common sense. have a sound & logical mind, be aware of your surroundings, behave and mind your own business.
