My name is Liset. I am 25 years old, and i live in Assendelft.  A small village  5 miles near Amsterdam.

Yes im new here  :D

I was born with the aircooled virus.
When I was little, my parents had al lot of old bugs and bay's.  ( they still have a bug 1303. My brother a t2 Bay)

My Husband tries to keep me down to earth in my desicions about new project's for my bug... a tough job haha!!

I have a lot of aircooled friends in the Netherlands. But I want too meet some new air minded people, thats why im here  ;)

Welcome! I spent a few weeks in Hollans,Amsterdam and a small village  called Hank. Didn't see a lot of air cooled VW's while there. Nice to see the ones you posted, as well yours looks great!

Hank is about 66 miles from Assendelft. I never heard from that place  :blush:

Thanks that you like my car. I'm very proud of it.

We have a lot of aircooled cars in Holland. ( almost in every street you can see one.... (or they are in the garage ;) ) And the scene is getting bigger and bigger.

Meetings : almost every Saturday,  Sunday and Thursday night  between may and october .

In the summer ( june/ aug) the meetings are bigger. weekends. ( 3000 cars)

Like Budel, Spa, Bug show, Das Drag Day.

i have a question for you. what does \"kever\" translate into english? i've noticed on other forums people using the word kever as a handle an was always curious about the meaning.

Yep. Kever is the Dutch word for BUG/ Beetle

Almost 1 week ago I got my own webpage. All the dutch people the speak Englisch on the forum.

Here a pic that some of my friend's help we with my engine. I have a 1200 engine  ( 115 km/h) But i drove 140km/h with it. Just to see how fast my beetle can go... euhhhh.. 115km/h is fast enough  ;)
