So is the best way to get there - take 200 to Fraser and then left?

The Tim Hortons is on the SW corner of Logan and Duncan/203st,

the A&W is on the SW corner of 200st and Willowbrook Drive.

There is a cruise tonite but its for tomorrows show participants only, and you need to register. I've heard they have been full for plenty of weeks now. They leave the Kwantlen College parking lot at 6 and I think they cruise downtown Langley before hitting the farmlands and then the drive-in. The A&W and Timmys is just an anticipated mini car show, much like what  happens on Thurs in Richmond.

Cruise starts at 6pm at Kwantlen.. should we say 5 at Timmys?.. leave for Kwantlen at 5:30?

Prereg. is recommended for the driveiin. think they still be doing late registratiions for the show and shine Sat am before / during staging.
Think I registered last March.

Last year there was issues around the cheapasses that put their cars on the 'outskirts' of the show to avoid paying.. pretty low when it's a fundraising type thing for a non-profit society.

The cruise however is open to anyone that shows up.

It's a 'parade' pace crusise for those who haven't been before.

The swapmeet on Sunday is also at Kwantlen.

I could be wrong, it's happened more than once this morning!

I just parked my ass at the corner of Fraser and Glover last year and watched the cruise go by.

OK.. Just called.

For the cruise.. you HAVE to have a ticket for the drive in.
You have to get it in advance.. As of now (10am), there are 10 left.. They can be purchased from Langley Chamber of Commerce, which closes at 5pm today.

For the show tomorrow, she said if we can drive in together, that would be the only way to arrange side-by-side parking.

Soooo...

If you have a ticket and want to join the cruise together.. Let's say meet at Timmys for 4:30-5pm.. leave for Kwantlen by 5:15ish

TOMORROW - SAT.. Meet at Timmy-hos again for 7:30am.. Head to Kwantlen by 7:45.

How does that sound?

So I guess no cruise then for me - couldn't make it from downtown by then anyway. Is anyone going to meet at the Tim's anyway? If there is a good chance of something like Richmond I'm in.

WICKED turn out for the cruise.. 4 dubz I think.. spreak amongst..

Turns out that there were a LOT of cars who cruised, then bailed at the entrance as they were checkin for tix...  Thought it would be like last year.. ahh well.
Drive in was full at the cruise end.. not many spaces left.

How was A&W?.. Heard it was a decent turn out there too.  B)

a&w was killer. packed house that spread out amoungst the surrounding parking lots.

shane & amanda & the green oval, rob & his 54, darren & christine with their 55 & lowlight ghia, brian & kim in their ghia vert, matt & jen in their notch, steiner in his oval vert, lance & his 61 (or is it a 62?), carlos & ratbus, me & the 64, mike grocott road up on his new aircooled steed, and i'm pretty sure i saw mike scott cruise through in his patinaed green bug on 5 spokes.....a few others include a blue patinaed mid 60's bug on 4 lug sprintstars, a nice orange mid 60's bug with shaved trim & w lid, a sweet black oval ragtop w/ brms and wide O oval tires on the back, and a 68 gold vert.

good times!!!
