All back together, with the syncro trans in it now :rolleyes: new OE weber 3.0mm needle and seats installed in the carbs............And now it's farkin' raining ]:(  ]:(  ]:(

I just wanna drive dammit :!:

it dried up this afternoon, had to go and take a few people out for promised rides.
then I told the wife I had to go to the store for some milk ;) damb the oval rear window is a lot harder to see out of than my '63.......I almost backed up and over a 4 foot nothing old grama, pushing a shopping cart, scared the shit out of both of us :o

oh ya, forgot to mention that everyone with an aftermarket pressure plate needs one of bruce's 100mm long clutch arms, I couldn't believe what a difference it made on a stage 2

huge difference, can't remember what a stock pedal feels like but this is very easy. with the 73mm one it felt like it had a stiffer section half way through the travel, now it's just consistant light pressure all the way through.

one thing though it probably won't fit for someone running a 1\" tranny raise. the wing nut adjuster on mine at stock height with the new arm scraped the underside of the parcel tray sheetmetal.

probably the best $20 I spent on the car  :rockon:

Last night I just helped Russ do some work on aren's oval.  You're right, it is really close on oval window cars.  I suppose if we cut the size of the wings down on the wing nut, it would have been easier.  We ended up removing one of the frame horn bolts to let the trans drop a couple of mm.  A couple of whacks at the package tray would have made it clear too.
The long arm against her stock PP makes the pedal just like a Honda!

I put one of Bruce's arms on our sand rail.  It had the hydraulic set up but actually was extremely hard to push the clutch pedal.  That arm made a huge difference.
