Alan,

I enjoyed watching all of your passes on Friday!!  What cam and CR does your engine have now?

Also, which gear ratios?

Thanks,

Neil.

I find it quite interesting that Alan has dropped cam and compression and gone faster...........

I think he said 9-1 with a FK46. Not sure which set of heads he running, as he tends to whore those along with lifters

Hey Neil,

Sorry I didn't chat much that night on friday.  I was scatter brains as usual at the track.

This year I had hicupps along the way.  I originally had a fresh virgin 2332 with my Udo becker lifters and fk47. The CR was 10:1.  Ate the lifter bores so had to rush and put my old engine back together.  It worked out to be 10.3:1 cr. I decided to use my fk46 for experimentation and used my Udo tool steels with that cam.

My gear ratios are close. I purchased an ftc mainshaft so I wont grenade my 1st gear anymore. My R/P is a 3.88 and  4.11/2.47/1.71/1.31. Those gears suit me well with all  my city driving.

I wish I had more free time to get to the track. I'm very pleased with my roach this year!!!
