New Guy , New To Beetles

Hey all , my name is Cory and I am a newbie . I have owned one VW before and that was a 1983 GTI , fun little car . Well yesterday I picked up thrasherbill's 68 Bug . What a blast . He warned me that I wouldn't be able to go anywhere without people stoping me too talk about VW's and he was right . I didn't even get on the Ferry without people asking me about the car .
So I sell cars for a living in Gibsons B.C.  I have been a car guy all my life , mostly old american stuff . My previous car was a 1952 Chrysler Windsor 2 door hardtop , which now resides at Bill's house . I am sure that I will have plenty of questions , and I will be looking to you guys for answers , I hear that this is a great place to ask for help and info .  I would post some pics of the car , but I don'y know how , and , you have all seen the car before anyway .

Have a good one .
Cory

Welcome to the ASF. There are a lot of great people on here with volumes of knowledge. If you want to post pics on here you will need to have them hosted somewhere, (ie. photobucket, imageshack etc.) once you have them on there you just copy and paste the IMG link to here. It's pretty simple ;)

Hey Cory, glad you found your way here. Lots of good info and good people to be found here. Sounds like you're already enjoying the bug, it sure was weird to watch it drive away yesterday but I'm glad it's gone to some one who will take care of and enjoy it!

Looks like I might be needing a bigger driveway!
