good times tonight. good to see you out there in the oval, rob. bruce, carlos, gavin & his family, myself and whole slew of new rods out there too.

unfortunatley, my camera batteries took a big dump when i got there so i think i got 1 pic total.

I was on my way there, when I stopped for gas, at the Chevron at No. Five Rd. and Steveston. When I started it up again.... rattle rattle rattle. Something broke. Called my GF, and she came with the M van, and towing equipment. Towed home.

Once home, took off a valve cover, to find a broken rocker stud. Woo hoo! Easy fix. Kind of a piss-off though, because I haven't beat on the motor yet, and it's still on single springs.  


It's an insane world out there... and I'm proud to be part of it!

Sorry to here about that, I guess it's time to put in those dual springs now.

Alan,

Bruce was mentioning one in North Van tonight, won'ty make it though. Next week on thursday of the weather is good I'll be going back out to Richmond.

it's a shame we missed you cameron. glad to hear that it was nothing major.

alan, afaik there are also cruises in langley & white rock every week.

Silas, the one in N. Van is probably closer to your house than the one in Richmond.  It is in the Crappy Tire parking lot just west of Mountain on Main.
